Road Standards
The Oak Creek Fire Protection District has established standards that are required for roadways and driveways. If a residential dwelling does not have a roadway or driveway that does not meet these standards then the residential dwelling will need to have a fire spression sprinkler system installed.
It is important to note that Routt County also has requirements for public roadways standards. For the fire district to sign off initial building plans and a certificate of occupancy the fire district's roadway and driveway specifications must be met.
