Oak Creek #1

Oak Creek Station #1 is located at 217 E. Colfax in Oak Creek It was built with limited funds available in 1996 when the Station on Main Street was too small to house the necessary equipment needed to serve the growing District. It currently serves as our primary response station for Fire and EMS. We are currently putting together a grant application that would replace this station utilizing the existing property. The new design would be similar to the Stagecoach Station with living quarters, offices, and meeting room training room.

Oak Creek #2

Oak Creek Station #2 is located at 131 E. Main St. in Oak Creek. It was built by the Town of Oak Creek and the then Oak Creek Volunteer Fire Department. It was constructed in the late 70’s utilizing Town monies and an Energy Impact Grant. The station originally housed the Oak Creek Volunteer Fire Department, the Volunteer Oak Creek Ambulance Association and the offices were utilized by Town staff until the construction of the New Town Hall in 1995. With the formation of the Oak Creek Fire Protection District in 1981, an agreement was reached with the town and the building is leased to the District for a minimal fee for as long as it is needed for Emergency Services. The station is the primary offices for District staff a utilized for meetings and trainings. It currently houses 2 wild land trucks and the backup ambulance.

The Stagecoach Station #1 was began in 2004 and was a cooperative effort between the Fire District , the Stagecoach Property Owners Association, and many local contractors and individuals who donated or discounted materials and labor to make the station a reality. The station is currently 3 bays with finished living quarters upstairs. The current building is 7,800 sq. ft. and total construction cost has been about $100.00 sq. /ft.

The final phase of construction at a future date will be offices and a meeting / training room on the west side.
